When you want to use a point (.) as a decimal i.e 0.5

The problem is in your regional settings on that computer this is what you do:


-Go to your control panel and search for Regional
-Then you will see a screen that is on formats make sure its set to English(South Africa)

-Then click on your location tab and make sure it is set to South Africa

-Then click back on the formats tab

-Click on the additional settings tab (bottom right)

-Make sure Decimal symbol is a point (.)

-Digital Grouping Symbol set as (,)

-List Separator set as (,)

-Click Apply

-Then click on the currency tab

-Then Make sure decimal symbol is set as point (.)

-and Digit Grouping Symbol is set as (,)


NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! NB! 


PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE PASTEL ON THIS COMPUTER OTHERWISE THIS WILL HAVE A CONFLICT WITH PASTEL IF YOU CHANGE THESE SETTINGS
