MARKETING >> MAIL MERGE:
Here you can filter the same way as you did with SMS's. Type a name for your
template in the 'New template' field and click the 'New' button. Enter a
message for template and save. In “Use template” choose your template name, enter
a subject, attach a file if you want and filter your clients. Click the ‘Email’
button to send the emails.
NB: All clients visible on the grid will be sent emails
Define your target market search to which you would like to send the Emails to by:
1. Adding columns through the column chooser (right click on the column header).
2. Remove columns by left clicking on the column header and dragging it down into the information area, release.the left click.
3. Define column information by clicking on the small white filter icon in the right top corner of the column header.
· either select the options you wish to have listed or
· custom search a specific criteria
What is the MAIL MERGE RANGE?
it is to break up your sending quantity of emails. Some email hosting companies has limits on the amount of Emails that may be sent out at a time from one IP address. To prevent half of your mails being undelivered, confirm with your email hosting company what your limit is. You can Google it as well.
If you know what are the maximum emails that can be sent out at a time, you can implement it on the range screen. E.g. if your limit is 120 emails. then you would simply see what is the total emails you have currently searched e.g. 240 (see total emails on the EMAIL RANGE window). insert from (incl) 1 To (incl) 120 and OK. When emails are sent, select EMAIL again, the range window will appear as well. Now insert From (incl) 121 To (incl) 240.
